Welcome to a fantastic year! I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself. I graduated from the University of Idaho with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Currently I am working on my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. My husband, Travis, and I have been married for 13 years. We have two wonderful children! My daughter, Sonja, is a 7th Grader. My son, Noah is a Second Grader here at Milenio. They both keep us laughing and very busy at home!

As a teacher, I am committed to teaching 2nd graders, not just the 2nd grade curriculum. I will assess your child and go from there. The students and I will create a safe, caring, and trusting environment in our room. We will not only do a lot of work; we will have a lot of fun doing it! I believe in providing children with the opportunities to explore, question, problem solve, experience, and create. In turn, I expect the children to demonstrate responsibility and pride in their work and actions.
